Step Up to End MS

In 2016 we celebrate 19 years as Title Sponsor of the Saskatchewan Blue Cross MS Walk, taking place in 11 communities across the province. Provincially, this event raised an impressive $623,745 in 2015. These funds enhance the many support programs and educational services offered to 3500+ people and their families who live with MS in Saskatchewan, and encourage world leading Canadian MS research.

Our partnership with the MS Society has become an important part of our corporate culture and an annual highlight for our staff, friends and family. Each year we enter teams in the Saskatoon and Regina Walks. We host various events within our office to support the team’s fundraising goals which have included a pizza lunch, Easter bake sales, prize raffles, and 50/50’s. We are proud to have been the largest corporate team in the Saskatoon Walk for many years. Our corporate team has also been among the top 5 fundraising teams in recent years.

MS is Canada’s disease, and Saskatchewan has the highest rate of MS in the country. “There are so many people affected by MS in our province, so this is our way of giving back in a meaningful way. Each day we are steps closer to finding a cause and cure for MS. We want to be there when it happens,” says Arnie Arnott, President and CEO.
