Saskatchewan Blue Cross® and Lumeca Health form partnership to enhance member access to virtual care
Saskatchewan Blue Cross announced today an exciting new partnership with Saskatchewan-based healthcare technology company Lumeca Health (Lumeca), dedicated to raising awareness of the free virtual healthcare solution Lumeca offers to valid Saskatchewan Health Card holders. Lumeca offers virtual health consultations from licensed Saskatchewan physicians to Saskatchewan residents through secure text, audio, and video consultations. This partnership is one of many member-centric enhancements being introduced by Saskatchewan Blue Cross in 2021.

Saskatchewan Blue Cross members can also conveniently save their policy and ID number within the Lumeca Health mobile app, allowing them to quickly and seamlessly reference their insurance information while at a pharmacy or with other specialists and providers.”
Enabling access to virtual healthcare is the way of the future. Lumeca offers an integrated approach that connects users to doctors, specialists and mental health professionals, who can advise users on best steps forward – whether that is the need for a prescription, further treatment with a specialist, counselling or just some rest and relaxation. They handle everything from managing referrals to sending prescriptions to a preferred pharmacy.
